Our certified occupational therapists specialize in treating hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder injuries, as well as improving self-care tasks, fine motor coordination, and return-to-work preparation. With extensive knowledge of upper extremity anatomy and mechanics, our therapists are experts in creating custom splints to enhance function, prevent deformities, and protect soft tissue and bone.
Common orthopedic conditions treated include Medial and Lateral Epicondylitis (tennis and golfer’s elbow), Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Cubital Tunnel Syndrome, De Quervain’s Tendonitis, and fractures. Our therapists also offer Work Conditioning and Functional Capacity Evaluations for patients receiving Workers’ Compensation.

We specialize in treating neurological conditions such as stroke, brain injury, Guillain-Barré syndrome, Multiple Sclerosis, and Parkinson’s disease. Additionally, we offer rehabilitation for cardiac recovery, spine surgery recovery, and mobility limitations related to walking and movement difficulties.
Our expert team includes physical therapists, occupational therapists, and, when needed, speech therapists. We design personalized treatment plans to address each patient’s unique needs, helping them achieve improved independence, safety, and quality of life.

Inpatient Rehabilitation Program
At Resurrection Medical Center, our Inpatient Rehabilitation Program offers comprehensive, patient-centered care to help you achieve your highest level of independence and functioning. Our expert rehabilitation team provides personalized treatment in a compassionate environment, working closely with you and your family throughout the recovery process.
What to Expect During Your Stay

Daily Therapy: Minimum of 3 hours of therapy per day, 5 days a week, with therapeutic rest breaks and weekend sessions as needed.

Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Practice self-care routines such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and functional mobility.

Functional Mobility: Therapy for bed mobility, transfers, and walking/wheelchair mobility.

Cognitive & Communication: Therapy may include memory exercises, problem-solving, speech therapy, and swallowing assessments as needed.
